JAKARTA — Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman John Patrick “Pato” Gregorio went the extra mile—literally and figuratively—to motivate personally the national gymnasts competing in the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships here over the weekend.

JAKARTA –  Focusing on his pet events – the men’s floor exercise and vault – Paris Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Edriel Yulo will seek to add newer milestones when he goes into action in the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships opening on Sunday at the Indonesia Arena here.

Underscoring the vibrant spirit of gymnastics, the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) has unveiled “Leap High, Flip Strong!” as the official motto of the 3rd Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships, set to open next month at the Manila Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.

The brilliance and talent of young gymnasts — both homegrown and foreign — will once again take center stage in the 10th season of the STY (Sonny Ty) International Gymnastics Championships, set for October 17 to 19 at the Alonte Sports Center in Biñan, Laguna.
